Light-tasting Enova® oil lets you eat sensibly and still enjoy many foods you love. Containing 80% diglycerides (DAG), Enova® oil is the only DAG-rich oil on the market. Compared to triglyceride (TAG) oils, less Enova® oil is stored in the body as fat, and eating foods prepared with Enova® results in lower serum triglyceride levels after a meal.

Enova® brand oil can be readily incorporated as an ingredient in virtually unlimited food applications. Moreover, in 2000, the Kao Corporation successfully notified the FDA of the GRAS (generally recognized as safe) status of Enova oil for use in home cooking and vegetable oil spreads. Recently, Kao Health & Nutrition successfully notified the FDA of the GRAS status for many other food categories. Enova oil currently maintains GRAS status for the following categories:

With Enova® oil, there is no need to change processing and mixing parameters, and Enova® oil is virtually indistinguishable from conventional oils in the final product application.
